.G.R.E.Y.

It’s been a while and I know I have repeat this words a few times.

I’m still very much alive, happy, sad and confuse in the same time.

Thinking about what you love to do, your job, your life it’s not easy.

Being a kid is better than being me right know,hehe

Thanks to a miracle that just happened to me, but still I need more sign to make sure I’m stay in a right path. From this blog I would like to say thanks for the helping from psycolog, from a little book that I’ve got from ak.sa.ra (this little book really help me and still read it), a movie titled “HUGO” who show me a great story about one man that make a decision to stop doing what he like even in the end of the story I know he will be back to the right path. It helps me a lot to know my condition and arrange my happy ever after life back again to my side. I always believe that every person has their own pesona and their own lucky. What you need that you just must believe with yourself, all great things will happen and come to you right away when you need it.

Since I look gloomy and has a dull face lately it doesn’t mean I wore a bad outfit, I’m still concern with what I wore and getting more craving for a good package of my self after get a job. I feel my style look more serious than before, but still why people around me think my outfit look weird? Is that because I am weird and having a different thoughts than them or is it because they’re have an ordinary touch of style? Someone who read this know for sure what I mean! Gah!

By the way I have a new account in pinterest. I made it last year but don’t have an opportunity to make it public like this day. If you have one please follow me, I don’t re-pin or make a pin about trash, it’s all about DIY, Crafty stuffs, Living ideas like siple project to make your nest more beautiful and many things that contains with beautiful color, pattern and shape.

Anyway, last Sunday I went to church with my lovely Dad and my brother. I was the happiest moment for this month since finally my Dad can go with us even not every week but I believe this is a good progress on him. I’m sure people around me know my feelings about him. Get well soon Papa, I can’t wait to have dinner outside together as before with another member of this family.

Currently in love with any type of cape makes me buy this simple black cape made from thick material, so in love with the cape shape and have a plan to make another one with a pattern and better material.

Aaahhh this weekend gonna be a great weekend because I will spend it with my girls gang, we arranged our short trip for this weekend and I hope it will be fabulous and shopping till we drop. I hope I will back with a bunch of stories specially a great review of a chic café (it’s been a long time since my last post about nice place to hang). Hang on, still pack my things and check my plan, wait for my next post please…

.girls day out event.

Saying that I've been busy for my real life it doesn't mean I don't do pleasure things. I just busy with my unusual thoughts and daydreaming all day. For some weekends I've been busy to make something by hand sewing with a bunch of great people. I joined girls day out by ideku handmade to make some beautiful pieces.

I'm currently addicted to anything about Japan. So about two months ago there was a Japan Festival held by Japan community and Japan embassy in Monas area. I got a free ticket from my office mate and decided to see the closing ceremony and to have a japanese meal. Also bring my camera to catch the night view of monas, some japanese food and the event. There is so many people was talking in japanese when i was looking for a meal, i feel in Tokyo at that moment. The best things that I can see clearly how they cook those artisy foods.

very famous dish from Japan, they named it "takoyaki" because they use octopus or "Tako" in japanase inside the ball.

we can see this cake almost in every single Japanese comic or cartoons, it's a cake that has a fish shape. They also put a paste on it, it could be cheese, chocolate or red paste bean as seen on the second and third pictures.

or we can call it as Japanese pizza. They put some eegs mixed with a water as the peel and put a lots of cabbage, scallions, meat or octopus as the toppings.

Uh writting those things make me hungry and eager to buy some of them for tomorrow's lunch. Anyway I dislike the weather lately because sometimes the sun too hot and suddenly the rain is coming without any warning just like what happen this afternoon. I washed my hair this morning and because the rain was falling about a few minutes so i must wash my hair again because i don't want to get a flu by the next day. It seems a jacket, a cape or a trench coat is my new best friend for this month. Since I never post a picture about my normal office attire so, here they are. Gonna go to watch Gossip Girl season 5, ciao..

Weekends is just like heaven for me. Some people just enjoying their weekends by sleeping or just staying at home, recharge their energy for the next weekdays, my moto is work hard but play harder,hehe. So weekends without seeing a new place or experience a new things is a big no no! Spending this weekends by attended a sewing class, yesterday i learned how to sew a pants. It's not finish yet because I'm in a rush to meet my bestfriend. If i don't have any promise I will definitely end up with staying at the class all day long until i get bored! to be corrected until i feel my head turn to be bald.

After almost 5 hours of sewing class, finally i felt really hungry and found some place to eat and to talk. This is my friend's choice but it's not to bad. Place quite homey, has a simple decorations, a nice service and not to crowded, a perfect place to have a long conversation except your friend has another distraction like gadget and so on,lol.

I spent about eight hours at the office and almost 80% of that time i use for dealing with numbers and using a computer or notebook, so i use a glasses to keep my eyes away from the radiation impact that comes from a computer or any gadgets. It's weird at the first time i use it and make me feel dizzy but now i feel much better. Here comes the deadline for the nex weekdays and i can't wait to see another weekends with full of things to do, just cross my fingers and hoping that everythings will be ok.

Knitting yarn by hobby craft

I've always excited with my weekend's plan but I'm looking forward for me time to do knitting because right now I'm so in love with this crafty things. I do this almost everywhere, in bus when i was on my way to my office, lunch time and sometimes in my way to get back home. I'm still learning to do knitting well and neat so I'm still looking forward knitting site or video that explain some techniques of knitting's pattern. I'm very glad to have a senior in my office that love crafty things just like i do.

By the way another random things for this week that I love besides knitting is meet a random or a stranger,hehe. I love to watch people specially in public space, there are a lot of people with a different background and they inspired me. Sometimes I admire them because of their sense of style, way to talk, or by their great body language called politeness but in the other way I tease them because their lack of sense of fashion, the negative thinking or unhappy face even it's in the early morning. In my opinion, a person who set their bad mood in a early morning is unlucky person, because even he or she get a bad experience in that early morn they should change their minds because it's just the beginning of that day, we still have a hope. This is a different between a taft and weak people.

So the random or a stranger person that makes my eyes into him is because of his sense of style, he reminds me to my brother who has simple but cool looks. It's been three days and i always meet him every morning. Just love to see a person that wake up early morning, survive in a very long queue to get to their office in a right time, that's a life in my town.

Another small reunion with some college friends. It seems I'm too old for birthday cake and people stared at me when i got this yummy strawberry cheese cake. Thanks besties! You are the best! This is mean a lot to me

Feeling that God bless me so much this year. I've got my new degree this year, got a job, still having them as a friend for gossiping, laughing and sharing good and bad stories of life. Just curious about our future maybe about 5 or 10 years later, are we still together? maybe with some kids, LOL. Actually this is an old stories, today we just met again for the small reunion and we celebrated our friend Inne that passed her test! Congrats babe!! I hope you will get a better experience with those Koreans!

Speaking of Koreans, just know it from this person that on their 17th birthday korean's parents giving plactic surgery for their children as a present. insane! no wonder they look skinny and so similar specially korean public figure. I don't get it why people trying to hard to be somebody but themself!

.Between Two Options.

Since today's is weekend so how's yours? I'm dying to go out and so excited because this is my first time going somewhere with the whole family since my Dad's condition not so well. There was family gathering in Toba Dream the restaurant that belongs to Vicky Sianipar which is very popular among the bataknese. Even we stayed there only about an hour and a half but I think that makes my Dad really happy and I was glad to see his happy face. Then we seperate since this is weekend and i need to see something with my Mom. So i would like to say too many place to see but so little time that we had.

Actually sometimes online shopping makes our needs to shop easy but sometimes it's drive us crazy right? So it's better to see what you want, try it then buy it. It's too bad when something that you want already out of stock then you still to need buy it from the online store without put it on yourself, something that look good on someone doesn't meet it will be look good on you too!

I'm still stuck in black outfit because of the classy effect and it will make your body look thinner. So I prefer to wearing something classy means all in black except for the bag and the shoes. By the way my MIB (missing in blogging) I had some fun like dinner with the girls before my friend go back for their new semester. We choose pastis as the perfect place to hang, laugh, gossiping and taking photograph. Oh and why we choose it? Because the food so delicious and they serve in a big portion so it's worth it :)

I've been busy lately about being a better person and update my knowledge.

Staying at home makes me feel bad specially when I'm doing nothing like right now. Another bad news is my beloved uncle leave us forever, all relatives have been shocked about it. It happened when me and my brother visited him at the hospital on Sunday about two weeks ago. Deep inside in my heart I know that if that's happen to my parents I just want to be like this, I mean I can stay beside them at their last moment, it feels relieve, trus me. Some people think it's a strange and scary moment but when you feel it then you know that it's the best things that you want.

.Happy-Go-Lucky.

Staying at home is not very healthy for our body, but staying ouside the house like strolling around or meet with some friend is not good too for your pocket since it means you will spend some money.

While I'm on my way to drop my Dad this morning for his therapy I was listen to the radio and they discuss about how to teach a kid to introduce and maintain their own money.

They said that is it possible for us just only in one day don't spent even just a penny?

It's very impossible, rite?

When you go out, even you bring your lunch to school or work you still need a money for a gas or for public transportation such as a bus, so everything needs money and we need it every single day.

When we still live with parents (even we have a job in my town it's common to stay with parrents until their children getting merried so they must move out from their parent's house) maybe we can save some money by doing activities that based on home but for me, I don't think so.

I love sugar so it's easy to eat them all by my self and it's getting worse because i love to cook!

So one of my friend share on her twitter that she made the famous "kuo tie"

This is a Chinese cuisine like "Goiza" from Japanese cuisine but you can make a modification for the recipe

So, why i want to make it by my own?
Because my Mom loves it

My Mom said when She was young and lived in North Sumatra, she always love this meal and when she feel that she miss this meal so much she will go to St. Theresia School in downtown and get her self one portion of this meal. It's too bad my Mom went home too late, maybe i will send her the picture just like this

Anyway, yesterday me and some friend celebrated our friend's birthday. We had Chinese food for our diner, sing along together "Happy Birthday", let the boy blow the candles and let him make a thousand wishes for his life. Actually we are and old friend that went to the same church except his girlfriend that actually our highschool mate. Eat much, talk too much and laugh so much.

.Me with a broken string.

I'm back! Yeah after busy day because of my thesis and my tax course so finally I can enjoy my weekends.

For me weekends start from Friday, and my friday was bad. I had a tax exam on that day and I didn't make it. I skiped my tax classes for two days because i had a small trip to Yogyakarta and I admit it was a stupid decision. Even i have a strong reason to do it but it's a past so let it be. I already studied a day before the test with some friends that really kind to teach me.

We studied together, solve a case from our instructor but when i face the exam actually the case was pretty easy but it was make me confuse so i didn't do it well and i feel terrible about it My friends just cheer me up even i know it was not working on me because i already upset. But the traffic that night was quite good and i can come home earlier. After a view days of late sleep so i can have a long time to sleep start on friday. Woke up this morning with a cold and dizzy head because last night i watched tv till midnight, I came out from my room and met my Mom.

She asked me to accompany her to go to Indo Craft in Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). I don't have any plan today except that i must practice my play for the church service. So I did it in the morning before I left home. It's nice to learn music since when you have a bad day, you can do play and cheer yourself, you will feel relax and it can boost your mood.

I came out from my room and my Mom just surprised to see my outfit. She said that we just going to JCC and felt that my outfit is too dress up even i think it's just simple outfit. So i changed my outfit. I just wore a tank, loose cardigans and a harem pants. But i feel comfortable with those pieces. I left home and picked up my Aunty then we went to JCC together. I was surprised because the traffic was not too crowded and also inside the building. So I feel freee to stroling around.

I know it can be like this if we go there with our Mom. In this case my Mom really focus on jewellery booth specially when they sell pearls mixed with diamonds. I like pearls, I do really like it. But maybe because i'm still a college girl and love to wear anykind of accessoriess so i prefer maybe the cheap one. I don't feel comfortable to wear jewellery for day because sometimes i take public transportation and i don't want get robbed so it's better to wear the cheap or the fake one like jewel from our favourite store like forever 21.

So here we go..after stroling to pearls booth i felt really boring. So I said to my Mom that I want to see around by myself while my Mom still focus on those pearls. I will admit that local stuffs was not so bad specially the traditional things. I saw so many booth there from all the provices in my beloved country (Indonesia) and each provice has a unique stuffs.

Then i found a booth with a girl as a seller that have a chic outfit. I think her age is 20 something just like me. I saw her booth and found the same cape as she wore. And i love it just like the first time i saw it on her. I asked about my size and about the patterns and how many colors that they have. It's like wear a skirt as a top when you wear this cape but actually they make the arms part.

I prefer the brown like what she wore but she offered the black one and it's only the last one, so i picked it. I asked their bussiness card and found that their workshop is near from my home. I was so excited when i hear that. I asked the direction to their workshop and this girl really kind to explain the detail to me. When we do the transaction as buyer and seller, she told me that she like my cardigans and my necklace. She said that it looks chic and cute, well i can't hide my smile and said thank you for that compliment. I definitely will going to their workshop.

Ended this shopping time with "batik" cape, snake skin clutch and snake skin bb pouch :)

I visited North Sumatra's booth and found cute pieces made from snake skin. My Mom just love their traditional fabric. The pattern so typical of bataknesse specially the red one. I forgot to take the picture. I only take the snake skin bags because i love it. So what you're waiting for?Go there and drown yourself to those incredible stuffs!

My report from Indo Craft: When you go there, plese check their booth and come inside sometimes they put a bad dress on their mannequin. Most stuffs are "batik" but they will offer many different pattern and material from "batik", there is also pearls booth, ethnic accessoriess like from India (I found one and they sell a cute mini bag), leather booth (from bag, shoes even blackberry pouch), I think that's all. But i can say that they have a great and cute stuffs so bring your cash there and go shopping but save some money for the brightspot event that will coming through

.Do you know what you want?.

Hello world..
I just arrived at home after my tax class. I've been sleepy lately while my istructor teached something in my tax class. After two times abcent because of my small trip which is not urgent but for some reason i put my rasionality behind and go what ever the condition and now i feel terrible. Sometimes we doing a huge mistake that we already known the impact but sometimes we close our eyes just for a small reason that really a bad idea. So i end up with empty head about income tax and i will face an exam this friday! crap! Even I've got all the notes and cases about income tax i still don't get the point.
The point is if for the next two days I still like this then My score will be on the bottom list! I don't say that i must have a great score but at lease i don't want to repeat the exam. So far I never get the best score in my class, but I'm not the stupid one. I'm the only college student in my class so it's so embarrassing when those employees can bite my score. I just hope that tomorrow i can open my mind and push those lesson to my head. Anyway today I meet Aya for our luncheon time. It's been a long time since somebody get busy with the love and mushy things.

I don't say it's a bad idea but when you know the person who don't like to talk in that sweet words then you will feel it's weird and wanna laughing about it, no offense please. So I meet Aya in Grand Indonesia, this place is our favourite place to hang and get some inspirations because so many store here. I have a korean meal for my lunch, it's cheap and with a huge feed. I think next time I come back here i will try another menu, I really wanna try kimchi!

So we end up our luncheon with strolling around level one. They have so many cute stuffs there, since we have the same purpose to get a dress for christmas and new years eve, so we just start hunting this day, i know it's about two months leter but we can get the best dress for the best moment with the best price,LOL. Really adore those pieces in this area. But i prefer the ethnic stuffs like vintage dress but in colors. I found this pieces, the embroideries and the deatils really great. It's like a triftted dress but they recycle it and make them look more fabulous!
