I was blogwalking to Diana Rikasari's blog and found this interesting shoes! She posted it with the title "Ulos or Not Ulos" Then I opened the Osborn's official site who made this cute shoes! When you log on to their site, you will see so many pattern in ulos, songket or what ever you name it. Ulos and songket are Indonesian traditional material. I know for sure about Ulos because my hometown is in North Sumatra and people who live there always produce this fabric with their hand and a traditional tools. I don't want to say something about this piracy, hmm...i can't say that because it's our fault that we can make something traditional to be a born new stuffs, we always be a follower, always think that something comes from the west is so hype! I feel embarrassed because they can see the beauty of songket and ulos, while we can't see it.
